Trent Garrett (2020) is a Legislative Analyst with the Office of Assemblymember Akilah Weber, M.D. (79th California Assembly District) and works on issues such as higher education, local government, elections, public safety, and transportation. He has also worked with Assemblymembers Tasha Boerner Horvath and Cristina Garcia. He credits the Sacramento Semester Program internship, in which he participated as Cal Poly Humboldt undergraduate, as an important step on the path leading to his current position. 

Samuel Dorsey (2021) is a Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. House of Representatives.
