  1. Participate in Envision UC Davis 2021. The Envision UC Davis campus visit program enables California's grad school hopefuls to develop an understanding and appreciation of graduate education. The program sponsors California senior undergraduates and recent bachelor's degree grads for a weekend (Oct. 14-16) on the Davis campus. Accommodations, some meals, and transportation subsidies will be provided for all accepted participants. Engage with current graduate students and faculty. Learn about the graduate programs at UC Davis. Obtain information about fellowships, awards and other forms of financial support. Receive tips about the graduate school application process.   2. Student representative for dean search committee. The College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences is looking for a a student of the college to sit on the CAHSS Dean Search Committee. One selected student will work alongside various faculty of the college to help screen, interview, and select a candidate as the next CAHSS Dean. Search committee meetings will begin in August, with four meetings preceding interviews with candidates. Apply here.
  3. Advocate for young adults in Eureka. Next Generation Eureka is an Ink People DreamMaker Project with the mission of improving quality of life for young people (18-35) in Eureka. We're looking for an entirely new steering committee to represent youth voices in Eureka and Humboldt County. Through the group you can easily access local grant funds, you will have connections to representatives in the city and county government that want to hear your perspective, and you will have an established social media presence. Make the changes that you want to happen in Eureka. Make friends with other people our age outside of school. Network and get experience for your resume that impresses employers.
