Kalb-Haston Award applications due April 9
Are you an A.S. student government leader?
Are you a political science major?
Are you a leader in other campus or community activities?
If you meet one or (preferably) more of these criteria, we encourage you to apply for the Kalb-Haston Award.
A $1,000 first-place award and $500 second-place award are presented annually.
To be considered for these awards, submit 1) a letter of interest that addresses why you are qualified for an award, 2) a resume, and 3) contact information for two references to:

These awards were established by Humboldt alumnus David Kalb, who was a political science major and president of Associated Students. Bruce Haston, a former Humboldt political science professor and mentor of David Kalb's, also contributed to the award.
