2) Project Super Bloom; applications due Oct. 8

Project Super Bloom is a youth-led organization that enables young people to get their voices heard in politics and supports candidates who fight for our futures by taking action on the most pressing issues like stopping the climate crisis and standing up for social justice. Project Super Bloom is currently recruiting students for the Politics to Policy Student Fellowship. The fellowship is 5 hours a week and gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in political organizing. Students will learn from experts in campaign finance, fundraising, policy, and electoral politics then apply the knowledge they gain to executing a state-wide strategy to elect leaders to the California State Legislature. Fellows will leave this program with a comprehensive understanding of how policy is passed in California. After the midterm election on November 8th, fellows will work in teams to develop a California Youth Policy Platform. Deadline to apply is October 8. Find out more here.

5) AAUW Re-Entry Scholarships; applications due Nov. 1

6) Sustainability Leadership Training for undergrads and recent grads; apply by Nov. 15

The C2C Fellows Network, offered through the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College in New York, is an international program for undergraduates and recent graduates aspiring to leadership work in sustainable politics, NGO's and business. C2C's intensive, interactive skills-based virtual workshops teach skills they don't teach at university, skills to change the future. There is no cost to attend. Apply here. The workshop begins at 9 AM ET Saturday 12/3 and ends at 5 PM ET. 

Led by Dr. Eban Goodstein, Director of Bard's Center for Environmental Policy, C2C training focuses on key leadership skills: vision, courage, developing your network, telling your story, and raising funds.

Graduates of the workshops join a national network with access to continuing educational and professional opportunities, including dedicated scholarships to attend Bard's Graduate Programs in Sustainability: Masters of Science degrees in Environmental Policy and Climate Science and Policy, Masters of Education in Environmental Education, and the Bard MBA in Sustainability, the #1-ranked Green MBA in the US. Questions? 7) 2023 CSU Student Research Competition

The CSU Student Research Competition is now open. Students must submit a written summary of their research or creative presentations to the Office of Research by Tuesday, January 31, 2023. If selected, students will compete at San Diego State on April 28 and 29, 2023. Sponsored Programs will pay approved travel costs for each student selected to represent Humboldt in the statewide competition. For the complete competition rules, Click Here.
