CSSC student campaign director sought, deadline Nov. 17. The California Student Sustainability Coalition is hiring a Campaign Director to lead the development and strategy of its campaign to pursue 100% renewable energy on California’s college campuses. Follow this link to learn more about the position and apply. This position is open to anyone in the state and is performed remotely. The deadline to submit applications is Saturday, Nov. 17.

Energy Corps positions. Energy Corps is an AmeriCorps program that focuses on community energy planning, hands-on energy assistance, green-collar professional development, and energy education and outreach. There are currently multiple positions open within the program that work on a variety of environmental projects. The positions are six months and have flexible start and end dates. WRRAP internship. The Waste Reduction Resource Awareness Program is hiring an Intern to assist the Education Branch during Spring Semester. Open to all skill levels. Internship course reminder. If you are interested in taking PSCI 482 Internship in spring 2019, contact instructor Loren Collins (loren.collins@humboldt.edu) as soon as possible so he can start making internship site arrangements and you can be issued a permission number.

HumRights Bar Debate. The Humboldt Center for Constitutional Rights will host its first-ever “HumRights Bar Debate” to help foster civil dialogue in public spaces on Friday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rita’s Margaritas and Mexican Grill, 855 8th St., in Arcata. The free event aims to bring the community together and build awareness that open dialogue is possible, especially on divisive issues. Topic: Housing Issues in Arcata. 

Humboldt Women’s Rugby Fundraiser. Support the women’s rugby team by having dinner at their Indian Fry Bread Taco “Drive Thru” on Nov. 30.
